2025 Water Rate Increase

NOTICE OF RATE INCREASE
The Northwest Grayson County WCID #1 Board of Directors held a public meeting on May 19th, 2025, and after careful consideration, has voted to restructure our water service rates. This increase will enable us to better maintain and replace aging infrastructure throughout our water system as operating costs have increased significantly due to inflation. This restructuring will not affect our current base rate of $26.50
The new rates will take effect 32 days after this board decision, June 20th, 2025, and the new monthly charges will begin starting with the July 2025 billing cycle. The rate changes are as follows:
